I have a ts-9 and I generally set the dials to 9 12 and 3 for drive, tone and level respectively, maybe push the tone up a bit more... play through it on your clean channel and listen to what it does to the tone.. Good luck, gravedigger. Welcome to the forum! :D 8==D - -

Thanks a lot for the replies, seems like so much to do something so simple! The true bypass pedal seems to be a cheap and effective way to turn off the ts and ns though, will look into that! Might be cheaper to hire a pedal tech than to get a midi controller though!
