funny you should mention Karma JesusChristPose.... I had the good fortune to speak with Mike at wacken last year, and when the subject came to touring songs, I mentioned Karma and from the response I got it seems that Mike doesn't really like that song.... not that that means anything...

Demon of the Fall and to bid you farewell...... and if I could pick a third, then epilogue, cos it's one of the most beautiful guitar solo songs I've ever heard, and shows a little explored side of opeth.... Richie

I read an explanation on dark metal a while ago... can't remember where.... but it was something like a genre that has been created to fit a certain group of bands into, who are normally not easily pidgeonholed...... bands like Opeth, Katatonia, Evergrey, Vintersorg (and Borknagar) and so...

well... as to the size of their gigs... I only saw them once.... (yeah, more than most I know) but that was in front of a respectable crowd of a few thousand at wacken....... as far as the live show goes, they are totally awesome. Everything you could expect and more..... I was fortunate...

it's just a shame that dan has sworn off doing any more death metal style stuff....

well, I think my ultimate opeth moment, and also my favorite musical moment of all, would have to bo those last few minutes of demon of the fall, after the jazzy part, especially when he gets to the last few lines, starting from "just one second......" absolutely beautiful...... Moose
