That'll tell ya how good my ears are :lol: I love the guitar tone. It's ironic given the seeming ubiquity of marshall amps that an actual marshall tone sounds so unique in the modern metal landscape.

The album sounds kinda sterile to me. I think the whole drum replacement thing in metal has gone too far, kinda ruining albums for me now.

I would've said Morbid Angel, especially the riffs. Even his vocals are similar to Dave Vincent's.

I like how that sounds man, the sound of the string being picked enhances it in this case, gives the passage character.

Anyone else getting tired of all these soulless, trendy death metal bands that have been flooding the scene lately? Morbid Angel need to release a new album asap and school these mofos!!!

They're amazing live, went to see them in Dublin recently. Irish crowds have a habit of singing olé olé olé between songs. On this occasion, Pepper figured it out quickly on guitar and the drummer joined in and there was a big impromptu jam session between the band and the crowd. Classic.
