    quick guitar tab question

Ah, as I thought, it didn't feel right though which is why I asked.

    quick guitar tab question

Say you have the following chord: ------ --7--- ------ --7--- ------ ------ I understand that I'm not supposed to play the string between the notes. So how would I play that chord without striking the string between the two notes?

Nope, that must have been another guy. The only time I sat down was right at the end of the gig while I was waiting for my friend to get his coat.

    European headlining tour 2009

hahahaha, there were a bunch of crazy girls who were screaming with joy when Corpsegrinder was dedicating the infamous 'Fucked with a knife' song. Overall the London gig was amazing, I'm a big fan of COB and CC, although tbh I was more excited to see CC tonight as I've never seen them live...

    problem playing standing

OK, first of all, I relocated the strap nut further down the body where it meets the neck. I simply took one of the screws out there, put the nut in, and screwed it back. It's now perfectly balanced - so much so that I prefer standing :D Also, 'cheap' is relative. And a higher price doesn't...

    problem playing standing

It wasn't that cheap, it goes for about $500-$600. Why would Jackson, or any other manufacturer, continue to make and sell cheap guitars that have dive problems anyway? I may consider getting an RR3 or higher roads model.

    problem playing standing

Cheers for the input guys. I did quite a bit of research before buying my Jackson RX10D (flying v), and I didn't encounter this problem in any of the user reviews I read. I have worked out a fix to this problem by passing the strap through my belt, which prevents the neck from diving down. Pic...

    problem playing standing

So I've been playing guitar sitting down since I started about a month ago. Now I'm trying to play standing, the problem I have though is that the neck keeps drooping down, so I have to hold it up while playing. This is hard enough while playing riffs, and impossible for me to play any sort...

replacing strings on a floyd rose

By the way, I finally sorted this out myself simply by increasing spring tension in the back. For my next guitar I just might go for a non-floyd rose :D

replacing strings on a floyd rose

I guess not, I pushed the tremolo to a parallel position and busted the 3rd string. Nice. I've had enough of this shit, I'm taking this to a guitar shop. Thanks for the help Matt, I appreciate it. P.S. Your music is brutal.

replacing strings on a floyd rose

Sorry, ignore my previous message, I thought a screw was meant to be in the middle. So yeah, I tightened the screws at the top, they are quite stiff now, the bridge is still not parallel though, do I have to keep tightening the screws?

replacing strings on a floyd rose

Thanks for that, I actually took off the back plate but there were no screws, just three springs. I've seen some pictures of where the screws are, but there is none for mine. By the way, my guitar is a Jackson RX10D.

replacing strings on a floyd rose

So is this normal/ok? If not how would I solve this? I'm pretty sure I could solve this myself with some direction.

replacing strings on a floyd rose

I've only been playing guitar for a few weeks and I'm a total novice, so apologies for the noobness. So I got my new heavy slinky strings today (11-54), I got them because my old ones were too light to play drop c. Anyway after replacing the strings and tuning to CGCFAD, I've noticed the...
