    Ghost Reveries IS a masterpiece

Thanks for the correction. I haven't listened to that album for a long time.

    Ghost Reveries IS a masterpiece

I think Ghost Reveries is pretty good and has put Opeth back on track. Hopefully the next one will be even better. I think the problem with deliverance was that the riffing on a lot of the songs sounded like other bands out there and not Opeth. Like the beginning of (I think) Wreath sounded like...

    The Greatest Growlers?

My favorite growlers: Mike Akerfeldt - Opeth Dan Swano - Edge of Sanity Tomi Koivusaari - (old) Amorphis Jorgen Sandstrom - Grave (Soulless is unbelievable!) David Vincent - Morbid Angel Steve Tucker - Morbid Angel Jeff Walker - Carcass Chris Barnes - Cannibal Corpse (on the bleeding)...

What happened to the "Opeth" logo?

I was a little surprised too, when I discovered the logo and title weren't actually on the booklet. Before the album came out I had hoped that they wouldn't put the logo on. Here is a little interesting thing to add for you newer fans of Opeth. The first 3 Opeth albums (Orchid, Morningrise, My...

    What give HOB Orlando?

Myrtle Beach, SC. Your best option is ft. lauderdale on friday November 11th. According to mapquest myrtle beach is 8 hours away from Orlando. As far as I know it's Opeth and Nevermore.

    What give HOB Orlando?

This is what the opeth webmaster had to say: Hi again, Have this info about the gig in Orlando. The gig is moved from Orlando HOB to North Myrtle Beach HOB. //webmaster This blows, I'm not sure I want to drive all the way down to ft. lauderdale, but maybe I will because it is a hell of...

    What give HOB Orlando?

I thought the HOB Orlando, Opeth/Nevermore show on November 9th was confirmed. It was listed on both the HOB website and ticketmaster before yesterday. Now it is not listed on either. Is the show cancelled, anyone know? :hotjump:

    Orlando SOTU Report

I think he was joking. I also thought he was referring to playing the new song (Grand Conjuration) off of the new album because of the fucking downloaders. He said it in a very sarcastic tone. I found it funny when after The Drapery Falls ended they were still fixing Martin's bass amp and...

recomend me few bands (preferably non american)

I like "Angel and the Dark River" and "The Darkest Hours" the best. "Gods of the Sun" is pretty good too, but kinda drags towards the end.

The rip of "The Grand Conjuration"

I don't have the rip or ever heard it, but I can tell you that when I heard Grand Conjuration on satellite radio the production was real good.

    **IMPORTANT**

Yes, they serve liquor at tinker field. I wouldn't necessarily advise that drinking is a good idea. It will be Orlando in July during the heat of the day. People are probably going to pass out at this show from heat stroke alone. Maybe 1 beer during Opeth for me, then go home! :kickass:

    Sirius Conjuration

I agree with you there, I guess I'm less picky than some people. When I'm in my car I just ussually switch to cd when the lame shit is on satellite radio, and then turn it back to radio when good stuff is on. I could go for some Primordial, Borknagar, Opeth, and more Emperor on the radio.

    Sirius Conjuration

I didn't have a stop watch with me, but Jose said that it was 10 minutes of Opeth. It was definately a long song, so we can probably assume that they didn't totally sell out by making shorter, friendlier radio songs on this album.

I'd like to know then, what do you want to hear on the radio?
