Here is a Rock Song that could use Your Imput re: Balances and EQ Fixes.

Here is a rock song called "Comic Book Heroes" that will be featured on an eight song CD. Let me know what could be adjusted here. Mix 82 has a hotter bass track than 81 and 91 is my latest effort. Let me know which one is better. thx

    DRUMFORGE in my mix

I would add that there is too much reverb on the drums

Looking for Feedback on this Rock Tune - 2nd Song of an 8 Song CD

Thanks, Pharaoh and inertia. I think inertia's comment on the vocals being to loud is valid, and probably due to the fact that I ducked the guitars under it a little too much. I will be coming up with a better mix soon.

I'm going to keep polishing this turd until I turn "shit into gold". Made some revisions based on earlier posters. This is the first of 8 songs I'm mixing for a client, so I want to get this (the busier of the 8) right before moving on. Help me out pls.

Hey, guys, I got the lead vocals up in the mix, and got rid of some of the low mid mud. Let me know what you think. Lyrics to Away From It All Race you down the highway Babe, you're goin' my way She's riding on the divider line a bit We've been friends since High School Her...

Pls Check Out This Rock Mix - Need Feedback on Balances and Freq

Took awhile, but I was encouraged by RuflsourusRex to make my rhythm guitar tracks wider. I have Les Paul, and a Schecter, but no Strat, so I went to the pawn shop and bought a Silvertone for 60 bucks, just so I could get different tones at far L/R. I also tightened up a few parts, and mixed...

Real Time Kemper Reamping [check this!]

I am working on a 5 min song, so I tried to upload one whole rhythm track at song length (mono, 44.1, 24 bits), but I guess the file size was too big. I cut it up into 3 DIs at 16bit, and it worked fine. I put a Strat Di trough an EVH, and it sounded pretty good, but I wasn't getting enough cab...

What do you guys think about this?

Good song writing here, but, yea - production could have been better. I'm going to record a band this afternoon, and I'm going to make sure I get DIs on everything DIable.

What do you guys think of this mixing style ?

Fuckin' killin' it on the lead guitar, dude! Just two critiques from me 1) The brutal vox need to be bigger (use a doubler or haas effect plug-in - something to beef it up) 2) Little more "human feel" in the drums (mix up some velocities) Good commercial potential here!

Melodic/symphonic/post-rockish metal (Vocals, live drums, KPA, AxeII)

Good "Arena Rock" song. I can already hear your audience at the concert singing along with the gang vocal section of this song. My only prob is, like most melodic singers (even the pros!), you could use a little help with pitch-correction. If you want to pm me with your isolated vox track(s)...
