The Annual Cryptic Roster Clue Post...

The signed band's rule breaking excluded, there are no repeat headliners. Slots haven't always determined status in past ProgPowers. Bands that Glenn considered to be the headliners have played the #4 slot. The PP History page displayes the bands by ranking. Nightwish was the overall headliner...

The Greater Vocalist Vs. Vocalist Poll!

Halford has more range than either Dickinson or Tate. The latter two are always associated with high pitched singing, largely because they sing that way all the time. Tate got that reputation because of his performances from Queen Of The Ryche to Rage For Order, but his voice has definately...

    progressive or power?

Power. I tolerate Prog for the most part, and every now and then a band makes me sit up and take notice. I'd rather headbang to the thunder of Power than stare at ceiling, arms crossed, thinking "Man, that's deep."

It's that time again: predict the actual lineup

Heh. You actually named all of the bands I'd least like to see. I've seen Pagan's Mind, Evergrey, and Fates Warning none of which really impressed me. On the Prog side of the list only Black Symphony grabs my attention, and Enchant is an unknown factor.

It's that time again: predict the actual lineup

Well I don't know shit about them. But since you asked, and I needed another Prog band to even things out...

    The New Helloween

Same. Love Helloween, but Mrs God already has me biased against this release.

It's that time again: predict the actual lineup

There's more than an ounce of truth to it. Not many are willing to spend the money buying a huge back catalog just to familiarize themselves with a band for a concert. The Second 5th slot has something to do with it also. Glenn says there were more people in seats during Stratovarius than for...

It's that time again: predict the actual lineup

I think these would be fair and balanced. I'm not a big prog fan, but I think either of these might be viable options. or

    Request Totals

Okay, so I needed something to do while listening to all these new CD's. Even so it was pretty fun to see how they all tallied up. These are listed in ascending order by requests recieved. The top request is listed last, so just for kicks see if you can guess what it is before you look. :) 1...
