Biff Byford 93rd best metal vocalist??!!!!

There's no way Hagar shuould rank higher than Roth. Hagar's stint with VH was successful only because of the foundation built by Dave. Geoff Tate had 2 good albums - EP and Warning. The rest was commercialized garbage. His vocal style sounds like his balls are in a vice. Lemmy and Udo...

Help from our New York/New Jersey friends needed!

Sami - The New Jersey Nets have an attendance problem. The arena has not sold out in years for even a playoff game. My recommendation is to not worry so much about tickets in advance. This is a pre-season game and there will be plenty of seats available. Just arrive 30 mins before the...

    Stand up and be counted,America.

To saxonfan in Chicago - WSOU - NJ has the Eagle Has Landed II album and usually plays a random song from it when I call in a request. I figure that's the only Saxon album they have because they seem to only play songs from that album. As for the Birch Hill Nighclub, the owners sold it in...

    US TOUR CANCELLED AGAIN

Figure this... and someone else in on previous post did the math too: Figure round numbers...(disclaimer I'm making this all up): 10 venues. 300 people. $20 tickets. 3 bands. Figure Saxon's opening. So thats 50% for the venue.... If you think I'm exagerating then fill in your own...

    Morristown show

To Saxonfan from Chicago - Surf over to the club website and get their phone number. I'm sure you can get tix by phone and held at the door. http://www.doubleds-morristown.com/ Angelwich - I actually don't like the "gentlemen's lounge" scene. OK, maybe a quick look since its right there...

    Morristown show

I plan to be there. Double D's is a big entertainment complex. Accented by its name. Yes, It's a stripjoint. Topless place on one side, concert hall on the other. Concert side stands 400 plus maybe 50 seats on the balcony. Recent gigs are Quiet Riot who sellout every few months as a homecrowd...

I hear you Twisted Tony! By the way...I was at BBKings a few weeks ago for Vancouver BC band Loverboy and they were giving tickets away for free to folks who bought a movie ticket next door or dinner across the street. I didnt plan on going but since I ate at Hard Rock Cafe.... what the...

What are the bands a Saxonfan listens to?

I took the test, got a 98! I don't know which one I got wrong. Circle II Circle "Middle of Nowhere" has been stuck in my CD player for months. It's a great CD and I really recommend it. I've also been playing Dio, Girlschool (Take a Bite), and Fight (Halfor's band from 92).
