have some of you ever met katatonia? i've met them during their last tour, and they were so kind! :D

number 8 isn't too bad, but katatonia deserves more attention!!!

i play guitar. not only katatonia, but metal and alternative too. you have to be open minded if you play an instrument.

both live experience and cd listening are very good for a band like Katatonia, even if there're different tastes behind the two things. in live i enjoy the closeness with the band (they have a very good PA system), in cd i care more about the music side.

my favourite songs are murder, at last, dispossesion, brave, stalemate... well, it easier to confess that all Katatonia songs are "my favourite".

I've noticed that there are few interviews/reviews about Katatonia on magazines. does the band organize the press activity? or does the recording company schedule the inteviews for the band?

buy them all but if you have to choose just one, i suggest Brave Murder Day, it's a must!

i think they tune their guitars as usual, in Eb... i don' t have the tab, i'm sorry. i've never tried to play it. i'm trying to work out the tab myself.

when i saw them live, Anders didn't sing the backing vocals either. i think there was no microphone too... maybe he had sore throat!?:lol:

is it Anders who sings on Upon the salty wall of the broody gargoyle (from Diabolical Masquerade's album the Phantom Lodge)? I'm sure he sings in the refrain, but in the other parts the voice sounds strange.

does anyone know what the sounds of decay cover mean? what does it represent? did the band choose it?
