So I'm thinknig about buy a Fractal Audio Axe-FX...

I mixed After the Bural's Rareform Remix and I agree with you. I have been trying to get those guys to go the "Sneap" direction for years, but they just really like that djenty tone. I guess it's just what's in style right now? It's kind of interesting because Justin loves that Machine Head...

    Amp suited for 8 string?

I sold my Engl Invader 150 to Trent from After the Burial and really like the tone he is getting from his 8 string on that amp. With that being said about 6 months after I sold Trent the Engl I sold Justin from ATB my Mesa Boogie Mark IV and TS-9 and I really like that tone even more than the...

    NOSTALIA - THE PREMONITION

We recently just posted a new track called "The Premonition" up on our Myspace. I linked the mp3 stream from Soundclick to our Myspace page so hopefully it will sound a little better than Myspace streaming. www.myspace.com/nostalia Nostalia is a project I have been working on since 2004 and...

    FS: Engl Savage 120

I have an Engl Savage 120 up for sale. I am the 2nd owner and have used it very lightly for studio use only. The original owner bought it in 2002 and never gigged the amp. I recently retubed the entire amp with JJ tubes from Eurotubes and used the amp for an 8 hour session in a studio. The amp...

    After the burial

it's one of the superior 2.0 kicks, can't remember which one. I think it's the one with the deeper dimensions.

I also used a beyer M88. They didn't have any i5's to try and I am not a fan of the 421.

    Fun Weekend Recording

I had an assistant throughout the day to help me mostly with the patchbay and the board. It was also nice to have a couple Pro Tools tips from him since I haven't used Pro Tools in a couple years.

    Fun Weekend Recording

Well, I have a pretty serious project I am currently working on. It's the album I have been waiting to record for about 2 years now. After our drummer (Dan Carle/ATB) left for tour we've had very little time to record, but finally we finished all the drums (V-drum MIDI) and I recently finished...

    After the burial

Original Kick sample was a gretsch kick from the Joe Barresi Collection for BFD2. CD is coming out September 15th last I heard. I just used some short delays on a couple aux channels and eq'd them a bit to fill some space in the mix. It's very subtle, like at -25 db

    After the burial

Delays, reverbs, eq. Tried to create a space since the guitars are line 6 into a board. The raw files are really flat and have No character.
