    i have a spider 3 and the 'mikael' setting doesen't sound much like opeth,maybe it's cos i don't have humbuckers, the sound is too bluesy

    yeah, I think I can hear some similarities between tool and opeth on ghost reveries, opeth have put more grunge style riffs in the songs e.g:ghost of perdition, the grand conjuration. The main difference is that tool sound so much more electronic

    Opeth's preformance at Quartfestival 2006

    I saw opeth at download this year-the first time i've seen them. I'm not sure if they always play like this but the bass seemed way too high. other tham that they were my favourite band of the weekend and i'm gonna try and see them this winter in birmingham
