Your Take On The Biomechanical Trilogy

Good point-should have phrased that better; my thoughts were more along the lines of the character's "awakening" being the culmination of the story base for "Eight Moons" as opposed to the song's place in the album itself. Thanks for the input.

Your Take On The Biomechanical Trilogy

I just completed the most intimidating and challenging review in my journalistic career in tackling "Cannibalised"; I wanted to capture the essence of the entire story that spans all three albums. Below is my humble attempt. I'd appreciate comments/criticisms, and would love to hear your own...

    Stu Block albums!!!

Is Stu's previous band, OMEGA CROM out of Vancouver, BC. If you're a fan of Stu's vocals, it would be worth your while to track down any material Stu did with them as well.

    This new vocalist...

Precisely! Look, people-if you're going to debate the band's sound, whether you like it or not, get your poop in a pile first and do some homework. Tim writes virtually all the music, so blaming Troy for writing bass lines that you don't like is completely off base. Go watch him live-the guy is...

You keep pumping out the groundbreaking tunes, and I'll keep writing about it! Also, I'd like to say I'm stoked you got to do Gigantour. You've busted your ass with this band for many years, and I know the day job has made it difficult for your to participate in the touring, but what a perfect...

    VIRUS Review @ METALEATER

Very Cool!!! Thank you. It was intimidating to try to do the album justice because i'm a devoted Hypocrite, but I'm glad to see it passes the scrutiny of a fellow Hypocrite! If you wanna see what happens to bands I can't stand, check these out: Nocturne-Guide To Extinction...

Best song on "The Empires Of The Worlds"

Yeah, John was stoked when I asked him about it in the interview. There are so many little things like that in this album-John and all obviously busted their asses to make this the best record possible, and it shows. I'm anxious to crank out an extended review.

Best song on "The Empires Of The Worlds"

Possibly the most difficult decision of the year. I personally could not narrow it down to one, but the ones that leave me beaten and bleeding everytime are: 1. Assaulter (Goddamn what a scream on that chorus!) 2. Long Time Dead (great combination of melody and aggression) 3. Regenerated (One...
