Great news John if you make it! :) The actual festival tickets will most likely not sell out (at least the last two years they haven't since they moved to the new festival location), so no big hurries there. Basically any hotel downtown Helsinki will do, the connection from the main station...

Indeed, the Tuska festival organization has confirmed the show will be with Floor, so Ann Marie you better start saving those pennies immediadely! :) The lineup this year for Tuska might just end up being the best one ever since only 8 bands have been confirmed and in addition to NW with Floor...

Flights and hotel booked for going to Zoetermeer and Eindhoven, wooooooooo! Really can't wait for next month now, such a sweet package. Hopefully Leprous plays a long set so that they get the old goodies in mixed with a few new songs, like they tend to do on tours. Hoping that Persefone will...

Certainly pretty cool stuff coming from my hometown. Managed to catch them live a few weeks ago at the Tuska festival, works sweet live too (interesting lineup too with 3 guitarists on stage). The label is selling the CD for 14 euros (= around 17USD) including worldwide shipping, not too bad...

This Finnish band just released their debut album a couple of weeks ago on Century Media. Finally managed to buy it yesterday after having heard two songs earlier in the spring. Fantastic stuff! Certainly the best prog metal album out of Finland in a long time and will end up high on my top...
