I use these and am extremely satisfied with them. http://www.thomann.de/nl/shure_se215cl.htm I always wear 20 dB linear filtered earplugs and these reject a lot more than that. For the money, I can't imagine you can find anything better.

The window in which the plugin opens is a wrapper for 32 bit plugins. I think the only workaround is run 32 bit Reaper. You can Install both and just use the 32 bit version for working around things like this.

Beyerdynamic OPus 99 is also a really great sounding mic for the price, definitely worth checking out. IMO you can never have enough choices when it comes to kick drum mics!

Thanks for posting! Pretty interesting watch, although I do think the engineer should have kicked that guy out to rerecord the vocals (clipped to hell and not the best performance either).

you can also send the DI signal to a hardware output of your interface and plug that into your tuner.
