    Sonata Arctica - Unia

I really love the cd. Natural progression for this band, and I can't wait to buy the US version with the bonus track. This will sell well. I agree that Paid in Full is annoying, it's one of the worst on the album in my opinion. I don't get what you guys are saying about no hooks, In Black and...

    Is Jani toast for PP?

I won a phone call with Henkka through Myspace and Nuclear Blast and he confirmed Jani won't be on the US tour.

Do you mind headbanging at Progpower

I'd rather have hair all up in my face the whole damn show than smelling some of the farts and body odor that lofted up last year. Somebody definately ate a carcus or something.

    Question about Sonatas new dvd

DVD lighting sucked, but the performance is fantastic. The only complaint I have is the mix they have, definately should have brought the bass up and vocals down. I can't even hear the bass guitar in the subs in my car, only the kick drum.

Sonata Arctica should play their cover of "Die With Your Boots On" thread

In recent setlists I've seen, they did play Dream Thieves. I think they played it a couple shows in a America too. Still no word on a cover though...I think this is going to turn out like Stratovarius in that they will play the same set every single night on the tour, and ProgPower will...

    Sonata Recommendations

Ecliptica was with a very different band than now though. The songs are so different than how they play live now that they actually redid a couple on the collection. Silence is the classic, if you want one cd. If you want two, go for Reckoning Night.

    just out of curiousity.....

Songwriter/keyboard player/singer/alto and tenor saxophone player/learning percussion (orchestral and drum kit) Unfortunately, I recently had a punctured lung which has effectively put many of those musical endeavors on hold... My band (melodic/progressive rock) is in the signature here...
