    so hello guys. i'm calculating what PA system I would need for my band but I don't know on how many DB rock concerts are on usually. so if you have ever used a meter on a rock concert, how many DBspl it show, and how many meters you were away from the speakers?

    And one more question. Let's say I've got a speaker with 250W cont and 500W peak. is it safe to turn up the amp to 400W without blowing the speaker for like a minute? if i give more than 500W will it blow instantly?
