I prettymuch agree with you here, but there are other points I'd like to bring up in a second as well. For one, yeah, fuck a lot of Opeth fans. There's nothing wrong with appreciating good music, but becoming so obsessed witht hem you'd sacrifice your first born to them just for another...

I honestly don't read up on lyrics too much and when I listen to a band I usually pay attention to the drumming and the riffs and how the whole song comes together. I look at how the vocals are delivered and implemented in the song more than what they are actually saying, if that makes sense...
