Careful Glen... If you don't think star power makes the show, consider that me and 2 of my friends are coming this time ONLY because of Angra. We'd like to see some other bands, but Angra is why we're coming. Nobody else in the lineup comes close to making the travel and cost worthwhile.

Dreamscape and Angra's set. They can play ANYTHING and it will rule, but I really want to hear Angra play "Spread your fire"

Yes, an absolutely incredible album. I'm very disappointed they will not be at PP USA this year. :err:

It's a damn good album, but anyone that is saying album of the year needs to hear Communic's debut and the new Pagan's Mind before they comment. Damn, all the top talent in metal these days is from Norway!

I really like Stride. I got a promo of this last week and I'm quite impressed, very good instrumental music, some of the stuff is up there with Pagan's Mind's "Back to the Magic" duet on CE.

Glenn that may be, but I was told they were sending me a copy of the promo. I honestly can't remember who it was that told me, as it was over a month ago and I don't keep any but the most important emails, but someone DID tell me. I got the impression the promos had already been sent out, or...

I heard they were headlining PP Europe... but maybe that was a pre/post-party? And do you realize what you just said? A million albums sold in the US? Yeah, you are right, they wouldn't be a headliner at progpower, they'd be WAY too big to headline there.

I want to see a return appearance by Pagan's Mind. I missed them at IV and they're gaining recognition as one of the world's best prog bands. If Enigmatic Calling sells as well in the USA as I think it might, they could be a headliner at VII, or at least 2nd from the end. Oh, and Gamma Ray...

Well I talk to a lot of metalheads and the draw for the show this year is definitely Angra, followed by Stratovarius and, would you believe it, Orphaned Land. I like Orphaned Land, but to be honest I'm most looking foward to seeing Dreamscape at the preparty! :hotjump:
