I agree. I thought "Labyrinths" was mediocre at best. I have been every year except 2 since their inception and, to be honest, it's getting old.

Congrats, Glenn!! I remember when this festival took months to sell out. Word of mouth from a great festival has elevated this to a two day sell out!! Kudos to Glenn for resisting the temptation to move to a larger venue. Center Stage is the best venue I have ever been to.

Wonder where this is going without Paul O'Neill?? This was his baby. Jon writes the music, but Paul wrote the words and had the vision. Time will tell. Rock In Peace, Paul

In 1999 at the SavaCon, they had an amateur musician contest. Dave Z won it with a scorching bass solo. Turns out, that was his audition for TSO, as Paul O'Neill (RIP) and Jon Oliva were there. He was a really nice down to earth dude and a tremendous talent. Bad year for TSO.

Haha!! Edguy is one of my favorite bands, as is Avantasia. I haven't cared for Edguy music since Hellfire Club!! I agree that it seems the more Avantasia CDs that come out, Edguy's quality has diminished.

Wow! I almost never listen to these clips all the way through. I did this one. Kinda like Sabaton meets Type O, except with bagpipes!! I really like this sound and I agree with the dude above me - I like the singer's voice. It was odd they never showed but one band member at a time!!

Thanks for that interview. I had never seen it. About the 28:30 time, Paul mentions "when we are all pushing up daisies", it gave me chills. Wish I could have been at Whacken that year.
