So the whole album is cover songs??

My new favorite band.

Who buys these things? If most people prefer jewel cases, why does everything seem to be in a digipak lately? If this keeps up, labels should just get on with hi-res downloads already. ...Never thought I'd say that.

FLAC downloads, Blu-ray Audio discs and Vinyl are the future for music.

Just another example of record companies being out of touch. I know so many people who refuse to buy digipaks no matter how many extra songs are on them...

I also own the live album. Can't believe it took someone this long to release a live CD/DVD combo in a single jewel case, which I'm very grateful for.

Any more info on this? Label? Release dates? Packaging? I must admit I don't care for revised reissues for the most part. The originals will always be what is remembered. Bands should just concentrate on moving forward. Anyway, love the music I've heard!

So, I've listened to the album a number of times.. The good news is the original EP tracks are not EQ'd at all really, the tonal balance remains pretty much the same. They are much louder though. Oh and Cherry is an amazing performance out of the rest. Reminds me of Dan's godly version of...

How will the difference in mastering be between the original mCD and this? I assume Dan would never brickwall or EQ the music too much??

New Blind Guardian is a perfect example of this problem not going away. Would it be so difficult for Nuclear Blast to add the bonus disc with the proper album in a double jewel case? (The demo of Curse My Name is particularly noteworthy...) Anyway, I was tempted to buy both at the store today...

More vinyl (harder to upload). FLAC downloads. And above all else, CD's with GOOD (not brickwalled) MASTERING, at a reasonable price. Maybe even Hi-Res BluRay Audio for the future. No more exclusive non-jewel case releases either. These are the solution. True music lovers will still pay for...
