Yeah, I figure my request goes in this thread. I want some Symphonic Black Metal, very similar to the styles of Limbonic Art's 'In Abhorrence Dementia' or Emperor's 'Anthems...' Please give me some 3-4 bands atleast. Thanks in advance.

Hammerfall and Edguy are OK by me. Anyway, bad production is one. I don't mind a raw production when it adds to the effect, but when used for stuff such as Evergrey's Dark Discovery album, it totally ruins the entire thing. Secondly, excessive use of Keyboards. But quite often,I can hack it

I have always preferred the Dio Era Sabbath. But I think their influence makes them the best, although I find them just good...nothing extraordinary. I like Deep Purple more than Black Sabbath, though.

What? I agree about Fourth Legacy being a masterpiece and although I liked Ghost Opera, I know some people couldn't like the album...but the Black Halo is amazing! On par with the Fourth Legacy and a must-have.
