Down - no question Superjoint has some pretty good tunes but their sound gets repetitive and a lot of the songs sound alike... Down on the other hand, has a great, classic sound... I saw 'em a couple years back in SF and they rocked! I hope they reunite someday and release more material!

Seriously... When I listen to the studio version now it sounds lame... I just remember Lopez banging his drums like a madman and I yearn for that "metal" sound.

While weed always makes me enjoy music a little more, it seems like Opeth is a particularly good band to listen to while high... in fact listening to Opeth MAKES me want to get high... It just makes it that much more awe-inspiring when they come in with that perfect little riff, and you're like...

YEAH! The new 'thrax CD is great... probably their best with John Bush. Lots of Rockin' tunes... My faves are 'Anyplace But Here' and 'Refuse to be Denied'... Can't wait for the tour!
