While I agree with you, I would still very much like to hear your interpretation of the song, as you have opened up my eyes to a whole new level of understanding and insight into Opeth's art. I appreciate the time you took to post your thoughts though, it was a highly interesting read.

I don't think that would sound too good at all, if you're referring to the new Mars Votla drummer. He's a very 'busy' player, and while this fits The Mars Volta's hectic sound, I'm not sure it would fit with Opeth's.

My favourite lyrics are from the whole of the Still Life record tbh. Though I voted for Isolation Years..it's such a tragic, beautiful song, and the lyrics are brilliant, better than Still Day Beneath The Sun imo.
