Kinda a tone test for the Treadplate Pre model on the Pod Hd as I was getting tired of the scooped and bassy sound the full amp version has. I used CLA for the bass tone btw Ps- here's an 8 string track I did with my Intrepid with some pretty random riffs

Awesome, thanks, here's two different demo's I did using it, using a podxt with the big bottom amp model, the "less fizz" one has a 1.5dB cut at 5600K, other one doesnt, both are low and hi passed. Only spent a few hours creating the tone btw, sure it could be improved...

I like that version better, snare sounds alot better imo, has less of the wooden spoon thing goin on. edit- in reference to the newest version for the band, your version sounds good.

I think the tone sounds like shit, very thin sounding even with drums and the bass. I dont think it helps that the bass tone sucks too.

Would you mind uploading some mp3s to like putfile or something? Myspace and even soundclick compress everything to crap, both bitrate wise (myspace is 96 kbsp 22Khz,soundclick 128k with free account) and dynamics wise.

Not sure it's totally on topic but has anyone had luck using the Sonar snare from 1.0 with 2.0? It sounds a bit shit in 2.0, I beleive I've tracked it down to the ambience(as that's where ALOT of the snare sound for 1.0 is , for me atleast), and I have no idea how to mix it for a more 1.0...
