I rate the like this: Politics TGE Dreaming Neon Black Enemies Dead Heart Nevermore This Godless Endeavor is close, but Politics is still thier best album. Of course thier "worst" is still a 4 star ass kicker. Hell why not just grab them in order and follow the evolution of the band?

How "raw" is the sound on the original recording as compared to say Enthrone Darkness Triumphant?

Yes. Album of the year easily. I'd think over time it's replacing Politics as my favorite Nevermore disc. It just has everything they are good at and all done very well. The drumming really stands out imo. 10/10
