KsE - The End Of Heartache

I also can't believe some of you calling this emo. I mean sure maybe the chorus of "Rose Of Sharyn" sounds a little ballady along with some other parts of the disc but the rest of it is pretty heavy. Listen to "Declaration" or "Take This Oath" cause that's some friggen heavy good metal in my...

KsE - The End Of Heartache

Damn, I can't stop listening to this album. My fav tune is "Take This Oath". I must and will buy this album to support Killswitch Engage. They are by far my favourite band. I like Howard's vocals however I liked Jesse's aswell. Too bad they can't both be in the band and trade verses ... now that...

Killswitch Engage: The End of Heartache

Classify it in what ever genre you will other than Nu-metal cuz it sure isn't that. Neway I like it. There are a few parts I didn't like but all in all it's a decent disc that I'll be listening to for quite awhile.

    Favorite Metal Drummer

I'd have to say that Raymond Herrara has probably the fastest feet I've heard although I'm sure there is someone(s) faster out there. He's not the best drummer though I know. I really think Andols Herrick of Chimaira has some pretty tight drumming along with Igor Cavalera of Sepultura. I...

One (musical) thing you hate in metal

Definately the most annoying thing in metal has to be snare drums that sound way too high pitched. Some bands can get away with it but when they sound like friggen pots and pans (St.Anger) ... come on. I used to hate double bass but now thats all I like to listen to. \m/ Black metal shrieking...

Fear Factory - Archetype = redemption!

Woah ... this CD kicks serious ass. A few tracks could be better but for the most part in my opinion it's headbangin' heaven. "Corporate Cloning" is by far the best track on the disc. Might even be there best CD yet. Can't wait to see them play live in April. \m/

    list reliable web shops

I usually go with www.mymusic.com . It's not quite as big or full featured as Amazon.com but it has the basics for a good store. They have song samples for most albums aswell. Much better quality than Amazon. I don't buy unless I hear a bit of the CD so that is a must. Prices are pretty good and...

Iced Earth-The Glorious Burden has leaked

If you haven't done so already check Kazaa for samples of Red Baron/Bluemax, Hollowman, The Reckoning and Valley Forge. Not being a smartass at all. It just sounds like some of you didn't know these were available.

    New Damageplan on DirectTv!!

Listened to them and I didn't really care for them too much. On the other hand I'll be honest and say I am still a little bitter about hearing about the Pantera news so I may of expected to hear something similar. I'll keep the tracks handy for awhile as my taste seems to change slightly over time.

    Most dissapointing cd of 2002

The biggest dissapointment of the decade probably aswell: Metallica - St. Anger
