Hey BasilisK 3 7 77, That band Enid you're talking about, is that the band called The Enid? I have a record by them called "In the region of the summer stars" and it's from sometime in the 70's. I wouldn't categorize this as metal, but more as acid rock.

I haven't heard "The Enid", but from what you described, I don't think it's something I would get in to... heh. Enid is a killer medieval-style black metal-ish type band. Brilliant stuff. Their keyboard player/songwriter is magnificent, and the clean vocals fit the music perfectly.
