Errrrm....let's see...most of 'em :loco: first off my head that I need to see is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I think that just about says it all really :saint:

Lair of the White Worm
That movie kicks so much ass it's not even funny. Used to scare the shit out of me when I was a wee lad, I'd love to find it on DVD or even VHS.

I've seen very few from that list by the way, but I watch the 9th Gate on a regular basis.

I think these are the ones I have seen, though I might have left some off becuase I might be unfamiliar with the name of something I haven't seen in a long time. Of these, I own Beyond, Brain Damage, Cemetary Man, Day of the Dead, Ginger Snaps, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, and Ravenous on dvd. Obviously being that I own them, I recommend these.

I keep meaning to buy The Ninth Gate on dvd, and I wish like hell that Night of the Comet would come out on dvd.

The Last House on The Left is supposed to be one of the all time bests.. I still haven't seen it. We just showed BLACK CHRISTMAS at the ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE, had John Saxon LIVE and in person! If you don't know the name, he played the father of Kirsty in the first Nightmare On Elm Street.

Rampage is awesome, a great Miramax film. I own that, Stir Of Echoes, Event Horizon, and the Changeling.

The Dentist has Corbin Bernsen, excellent stuff.

What's up with the omission of anything from the Friday the 13th, Hellraiser or Elm Street installments??

I would add to the list

Hellraiser 2
In the Mouth Of Madness
Psycho
The Amityville Horror
The Serpent & the Rainbow

Awesome. You just said the magic words for me PJ! John Saxon is one of my all time favorites. At home, I have an personalized autographed 8x10 from Mr Saxon framed. It's from one of his lesser known pictures, Planet Earth.

I've had conversations a few times with John on his message board, he is a really cool guy. Some Saxon favorites of mine include: Cannibal Apocalypse, The Glove, Battle Beyond the Stars, and of course... Enter the Dragon.

Know him? Oh man, he is the cult genre movie king. Don't forget that he beat and killed Bolo in Enter the Dragon!

the Changeling.
Amazing underrated movie. Probably one of the best from the horror glory days of the 70's. George C Scott is excellent as ever, and The Ring couldn't have stolen more from this flick if it tried. Well, maybe.

I thought Ginger Snaps was really good, and I think they're making a sequel. By the way, have you seen Dog Soldiers yet?

Also, where did you get your Cemetary Man? I have it uncut (as Dellamorte Dellamore), but did you find an official copy somewhere? I used to get some stuff from Crimson Cult Video, but their site seems to be down these days.

Actually, I believe they made two Ginger Snaps sequels at the same time, both to be released next year. Don't quote me on that, but I could swear I've read that.

I own Dog Soldiers. Very awesome.

Bootleg dvdr, can't remember where I got it from. Now that I finally have a dvd player that correctly converts a PAL signal, I want to find the definitive edition. www.pokerindustries.com has a few for sale, but neither are the 'Red Edition' which I think is the best one? I don't know why no one has released it proper in the States.

"Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" was a fairly disturbing movie. It's frightening to think there are people like that walking around.

"I Spit on Your Grave" was an OK movie. Essentially, it's about a woman who is gang-raped who takes revenge on her assailants.

The movie that I'm surprised didn't make it is "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things". This was one of those movies they'd show at 2AM, once a year, that my friends and I would try to stay up for.

Heh... I used to love that movie when I was a kid and hadn't seen it in ages. I bought it on dvd about a year or so ago. Well... it's really not that good. The last 20 minutes or so are cool, but it's like pulling teeth getting to it. Still, from a nostalgia standpoint, and from a zombie dvd collector, I'm glad that I picked it up.

These are the ones I've seen, and I'll admit I pretty much enjoyed them all. I'd say my favourites have been The Beyond, Day of the Dead, Devils Backbone, The Exorcist III, Opera, and Session 9.

The Keep is excellent, but I bet if I saw it now it would look a little dated. Still, I don't think it's available on any format.

I wonder why Maniac Cop 2 made it, and not part 1? Bruce Campbell is in the first one!

Films that never made it to the list:
Junk
Dog Soldiers
Dark Water
Ring 2
Don't Look Now -> small masterpiece with Donald Sutherland
Videodrome
