Best Horror Films (In the Spirit of All Hallows)

you're right about the remake thing. i don't expect masterpiece but a nice watch. just hope romero won't destroy it, at least he has some credibility.

i remembered one more - i liked the ninth gate. tho it is more thriller than horror, that one was really good.

Rosemary's Baby remains Polanski's best horror flick.

@Iso: Yeah, the only one I didn't suspect, which is unusual for me. Good murder mystery, but like I said, not a MPD twist.

I still lean towards the old stuff. Nosferatu, Frankenstein, Dracula, the Hammer remakes of the previous two, Night Of The Living Dead, Psycho, House On Haunted Hill, House Of Wax...

The feel of an old black and white horror movie cannot be matched by any big budget horror movie...

night of the living dead was incredible imo, one of the best ever. saw it years ago and i loved it instantly
