thoughts?

*edit*

This is a "tweaked" mix, added a little more thump to the bass drum, lowered the bass frequency on the guitars, raised the lead volume a touch, and took out the stick clicks.

This one, is with an entirely different approach to the master, the intro change is something the band wanted.

compare and contrast, GO!

Wow lol this sounds like when my band was all 16 yr old kids  4 years ago. Sounds sick man. Im through stereo speakers right now but no apparant flaws. Good mix bra

Thanks, the toms i used a slight blend of the big 2 maples in the slate set, but mostly the kids toms, that little drummer knew his shit. He TWO shot that song to a click. I was thoroughly impressed.

No sir, no quantization at all. :D Thanks for the kind words all, really appreciate it. Gonna do my first "Dirty Rock" Project in a few weeks so I'll post that when it happens. Little worried, but I think with some insight from this board I'll be alright. :D

No quantizing. Wow, that's rare, especially in this style of music. Sounds pretty good but it needs more "glue" overall, the mix sounds good but lacks a finishing touch sticking everything together, IMHO (nice compression on master, a bit more reverbs here and there, etc.)

Indeed, I too feel the master is lacking a bit of adhesive myself. I'll try adding some overall verb to the master and see what happens, thanks for the input!
