I'd like to ask how much do you usually charge for mixing and mastering a single, or ep/album?
Now the second part of the question...
I spent almost an entire month solely practicing mixing and mastering on average of 2-4 songs(covers) a day across few genres, now I want to start advertising my services. I'm going to offer completly free mixing of 5 singles from differemt bands, or albums/EPs at half of the price (500+ for an album or 300 for EP) I would charge normally, and then after a month or so(if you will get any clients, and get some original stuff in my portfoli rather than just covers) charge at my desired prices.
Do you think that its a fair price, or am i just fucking myself over?
