I would like to second that. My first ANTHRAX album was SOE..then i got into ATL & STD..SOE is very special to me & most of my metalhead friends.

Anyway...i knew the band hated SOE so much from u guys, but what are the reasons for the hate? Anyone can share?

I don't think it was immediate but once the shorts and comical stuff got tired on everyone they seem to dismiss that period quite quickly,noticed how serious pot was...

Yes it was the 1st album for me too. The album does sound unfinished though in terms of the mix and song structure, especially towards the end, although Finale is great. I got the hear Now it's Dark on the POT tour in Melbourne. It ruled.

Then, just play the songs while not wearing those rainbow coloured shorts & stop being comical...Instead of covering BOSTON, AC/DC bla bla bal..It would be better if they start playing their old but gold songs. Man, talking about admiring your neighbours green garden, when in fact you are living in a much better one.

Pretty much, I had also heard somewhere that they felt the album wasnt good enough and a disappointing follow up to ATL. Great fucking album to me still.

It's true. The boys never liked SOE after it was released. Felt it lacked "punch". They certainly made up for it with POT. That was a great album.....followed by the masterpiece....SOWN.
