This year was a letdown for me. One of the biggest surprises however was Z-Lot-Z's reunion show. Hope it yields some new material in the future. Also, Sword (Metalized) are back together! Hell yes!

10. Geoff Tate - King and Thieves (Included because I really liked 'She Slipped Away')
9. Primal Fear - Unbreakable (Not their best work, but I need 10 bands)
8. Explorer's Club - Grand Hotel (Excellent album in the vein of Pet Sounds and the Beatles' Revolver)
7. Kiss - Monster (Sonic Boom pt. 2)
6. Threshold - March of Progress (I still miss Mac, but this album was a great continuation of the Dead Reckoning sound)
5. Firewind - Few Against Many (A bit of a letdown, but there were some awesome tracks too)
4. Powerglove - TV Game Metal (Video game shred metal)
3. Echo Temple - Demo (Symphony X meets Everygrey)
2. Unisonic - S/T (Glad to have Kiske, Hansen and PC 69 in the same band!)
1. Betrayer - S/T (The Canadian Dream Evil)

Other good albums: Time's Forgotten (Wyvern just turned me onto these guys, great prog metal ala Dream Theater, but shorter!), Iron Mask, Van Halen, Trixter (I'm shocked too!), Accept, Burning Point, Domination Black, Axxis (great cover of Ma Baker), T&N, Dokken, Neal Morse,

Biggest letdowns: Fozzy, Circus Maximus, Nightmare (fr)

Concerts: Megadeth/Motorhead, Skid Row/Tesla, Chicago/Doobie Bros.

Anticipated releases for 2013: Queensryche, Skid Row, Dream Evil, Pink Cream 69, Megadeth, Avantasia, Theocracy, Helloweem, Echo Temple, Lord, Crimson Glory, Fates Warning, Black Sabbath, Metallica

Still sorting out my list since many of the albums I just recently got and haven't had time to absorb them completely... But I've got a top three that I doubt will change (at least with the albums I have so far) and the rest are still vying for position:

1. Threshold - March of Progress
2. Yossi Sassi - Melting Clocks
3. Testament - Dark Roots of Earth

and the rest not ordered yet...

Kamelot
Black Country Communion
Mob Rules
Mustasch
and a few others that didn't impress me enough to make me think they'll make my list

Very disappointing year musical wise, can't even make a decent top 10....

Best album for me was Arjen Lucassen's "Lost in the new Real".

Good albums from Rush, Threshold, Kamelot, Grumpf and Vai.

Ditto, WTF you can't make up stuff :guh:

What the fuck?

Before I lose my temper (which is very common) I CLEARLY stated in the original post that attacks on the lists will not be tolerated.

If Henri wants to put TDTDE in his list it's totally alright. I don't like the band either, but I respect that someone else does.

Last warning to everyone, next outburst will be deleted without explanation.

Hey Wyv, I'm not sure about ashaman, but I got the impression that Assault Attack wasn't dissing the music so much as cracking a joke about Hawk "making up" band names for his list. I thought the exact same thing when I first saw it because I've never heard of them and the name is rather out there.. I wondered if Henri was just making it up for a laugh!

My personal list:
10-Legend by Witchcraft
9-Monolith of Inhumanity by Cattle Decapitation
8-the Electric Age by Overkill
7-L`enfant Sauvage by Gojira
6-Reign Supreme by Dying Fetus
5-Autotheism by the Faceless
4-Dingir by Rings of Saturn
3- Woods 5 by Woods of Ypres
2-Infamous by Motionless in White
1-Where the Corpses Sink Forever by Carach Angren

I did not make it up. As any two second google search would have shown:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tony_Danza_Tapdance_Extravaganza

OMG! Someone on the internet is listing to music I don't know and/or like!!!

Now please continue with the topic at hand. Thanks :)

Exactly (since I did it sometime ago drawn by the band name).

Well, you see?, you took the time and wrote 6 lines explaining everything. Why the rest can't?

We do have rules for some reason, I still can not understand why people don't take the time, read the and then post writing more than three letters answers.

I seriously believe that FB and text messaging is draining the brain of Internet users.

I think we have to institute a writing exam, before someone can use the the forum. What about Old School messaging 101?, I`m sure you and Hawk can give the course flawlessly. :kickass:
