Recently ibanez has really stepped things up. Their guitars are starting to reach the quality standards they had in the late 80s when they were at their peak.

I'd say that's pretty debateable...everything else you said was spot on though.

Anyway, new models (with new and quite interesting bridges) are on their Japanese website. For once, I'm actually really excited to try some new stuff from Ibanez.

Thats the exact guitar I have.. my paint job looks a tad bit darker though.
