2nd thoughts about Randall

My beloved Randall Warhead (hence the name) Halfstack is begining to bring up some problems ,.,first off.,.its not as loud as other amps.,.,mainly because its a solid state amp.,., plus im just not as impressed with it now that i have heard other tubed amps.,..,


my question is can i still use the cab i have now with another head.,.,...,and wut brand do you prefer.,..,.i love the sound from my Line 6 and i think its set to mimic mesa boogie.,.,.,so i might consider getting one.,.,.but will i have to scrape the 4 speaker cab that i have now or will it be compatible with mesa? ( yeah this is kinda confusing )

you can use any head with any cab, & the other way around.

the speakers inside the cab are more important than who makes the cab, by far.
i use my line 6 head with a crate cab that has celestion speakers

you can't use any head with any cab, you must make sure the impedance is correct or you can blow your head. the brands don't matter though, it all depends on whether or not you think it sounds good. I personally can't stand anything randall makes.
