3 band eq frequncies?

I'm wanting to set up ReaEQ to simulate the eq' found in car stereo's and home stereo's. But I have no idea what frequencies/bell curves these eq's use. Anybody have an idea of how/what I could do to simuate them?

Different stereos have different frequency settings, but generally they consist of high and low shelf EQS for the "treble" and "bass" controls. A good place to start might be 150-300Hz for the low shelf and 4000-8000 Hz for the high shelf (totally an estimate as these frequencies could vary depending on the unit).

More elaborate aftermarket stereos will vary depending on the make/model, but you might be able to find more information on EQ points/crossovers/etc. in the manual.

Hmm I do know that WMP has EQ settings tab, and can show you some curves to get an idea.

Most standard car stereo's are set up with bass at/around 100Hz and treble at/about 10 kHz and use a Baxandall shelving filter.
