I'm not into the radio hits too much, I much perfer their more whacky/proggy stuff the do. I'm also LOVE reggae (even simple reggae) so it's not a far jump for me to make.

The 311 I've heard on the radio is pretty cool. I don't own any of their cd's. Comparing them to Dream TheatER is stupid. Notice the "er" not "re" If you can't even spell the band's name properly what can you possibly know about them? Hehehe. And DT's lyrics are some of my favorite ever from ther older cds.

Yeah, I have a few 311 CD's I don't listen to them much anymore, but I obviously used to. Some of the tracks from Transistor are beauties in that reggae vein...But then some of them are REAL duds. That aspect kind of always annoyed me, but I think they are a great band.

Before I knew what metal was I had their ST album...I like their song "Flowing" and I haven't heard anything beyond that.

sorry for such a simple statement w/out any explaination at all,but I don't think that much of 311 to go into detail about them and because most of what I think about them has already been said about 3 times.
