I just downloaded the Simpsons demo on live and its awesome. This year end is going to be a brutal onslaught on any form of productivity around the house cause I'm going to be playing all these games.

Not to mention that in a few weeks, you'll need something to do when you're awake at 1am. And 2am. And 3am. And 4am......

Yeah, I've just recently discovered the greatness of Halo3... and having never played the original Halo or Halo2 I was somewhat surprised just how insanely fun it is to play multiplayer matches online with friends (and the solo game isn't bad either.)

From your list, I really only know about Mass Effect and CoD4. I'll have to d/l the Simpsons demo tonight and check it out. I'm also looking forward to the Guitar Hero III (10/28) and Rock Band (11/23) games to come out, so I can continue to live my inner rock star from the privacy of my living room.

Call of Duty 4 - must have
Simpsons - will get this one too
Naruto Rise of the Ninja
Virtua Fighter 5



Last week was a good release week too:

Ace Combat 6 - will get this one used after the holidays.
Conan - will rent this one demo was ok.
Guitar Hero 3, not my thing but lots of people love this game including my kids.

So, did they ever address the problem where the 360s burn out after too much use? I kinda want one, but I'm not taking my chances if mine is going to die on me.

I heard that they released a new version with HDMI support.

Well they claim they've fixed some of the production issues. But for production related problems they'll now do free repairs. Which is good. So less risk to buy.

Roger got to camp out on Guitar Hero 3 last night. He said it's BRUTAL tough.

He and Guy had to pause and hand off the guitar to get through Raining Blood. \m/
