A wish list like this is basically composed of my favorite albums of bands that have been active in the last 5 years.

first time: The hourglass, astra, aeon zen, kenso (amazing japanese band), persefone, sun caged, glass hammer, lance king, animals as leaders

return: angra, andromeda, haken, symphony x, pathosray, epica

Also want to hear circus maximus, seventh wonder, myrath play new unreleased stuff again someday.

Maybe one of the acts could be an experimental jam session like those G3 concerts with satch, pettruci, vai, al di meola and others. Like the Portnoy-Sheehan-MacAlpine-Sherinian group that will be on that cruise in february. Or arch/mateos, allen /lande, liquid tension experiment, etc.

It would be nice to have more retro style prog in the mix. It seems that prog power this year was mostly the aggressive stuff. Beardfish, transatlantic, flying colors, the mystery, flower kings, spock's beard are important too.
