Guitarhacks BBAC-Half Impulse

I've done a mixdown of the same clip 3 times.
Each one with different "mastering" eq.

Which one sounds better to you?
What do you think of the guitar tone?
Too much treble?

Door #2 is my choice.

I go with door #3 because it is the least fizzy. I'd try and work on the hi end of the guitars a little bit.

I like 2 the best, because I think it it is the most even sounding in those samples.

on a sidenote: how do you get such a punchy sound with impulses? no matter what I do, my stuff sounds always kinda distant. starting to think it's my interface (tc konnekt 8), what do you use?

what do you use with the impulse? what are your settings? your chain?
doubt it's the interface though. I'm using an M-Audio Delta 2496
