5150 guitar tones

What do you think of those tones ?

Here is the third one.

It's the beginning of the song "Drifter" by In Flames but the tuning is higher. Drums were programmed quick.

I think they sound good, I had a different approach each time.
Tell me which you prefer.

I like the slickness of the third, the depth of the first and the tightness of the second, go figure
I think that the second could turn out great in a mix if eqd "correctly" but is somewhat more dead sounding than the others. The other two sound a bit too muddy but come closer to R2R anyways.

1 and 3 sound closest to IF's recent mixes to me. I think both need a lot of low cutting to sit well in a mix.

#2 is the one I would personally go with if doing my own thing. Perhaps with a blend of #3 for more aggression and fatness.
