5150 rythm channel settings for rythm guitars

I have reached a point where I only use the Green channel for dirty guitars...always TS in front (actually prefer SD-1 lately!) level noon, tone 1 o'clock, gain off or almost...

Bright & Crunch IN
Pre-~1 o'clock
Bass-between 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock
Mids- between 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock
Treble- noon to about 1 o'clock
Post -~10 o'clock
Res- 2 o'clock
Pres- 3 to 4 o'clock

Yeah, a little ambiguous, sorry, but the settings change depending on guitar and cabinet being used. I've got a Frankenstrat loaded with an old EMG 85 with 18V mod that sounds so big I have to dial back the bottom, especially as the post goes up.
I guess the settings change based on what sounds best to me!!

im a huge fan of less pre-gain on the 5150 5 at most usually around 4 low 6 mid 4 high 6 pretty brutal tone from that

almost the same settings and we have a block letter and a 5150 2

The band is my own - Machinate; however we don't have a vocalist and are having real trouble finding someone :(

Glad you liked it dude, there are some more songs below (with the same guitar sound etc):

Sounds fucking awesome man. Really, really good. Amazing tone.

What processing is on them - a C4 across the low mids plus the odd 1dB notch here and there? (and of course the old HP/LP)

If your up for recording some vocals over these tunes, seriously go for it man and send em over!

well, I tried, remember? Or did I ever send that over? I'm more of a melodic singer, scream once in a while. The song you sent me, I had a killer melody for it, but it was out of my range in the tuning you used. But I did dl all the songs. If I have time I'll fuck around with them, get you all fired up, then say "fuck it" and not send it to you. :loco: I'm too critical of my own voice.
