Wow, green channel on the 5150II, I never use the green channel on my 6505+...I may need to start.

Yep, I use only the green for rithms...but I'll try soon to tweak the red channel....the setting of the 5150II if everyone is interested:
Same input chain of the cobra but:
Green channel
Gain : 7
Low: 6,5
Mid: 2
High: 7
Post : 4
Presence and resonance : 7
Bright switch on

I believe I prefer the Cobra. Great sounds on all of them though.

Yep, i prefer the 1st one over the second, but i prefer the blended mix over the 1st

.I think the mesa cab is full of mids.

wow, which Mesa do you have?

with my Mesa I've noticed that I had to turn the mids on the amp up quite a bit comeing from the Engl.
compared to the Engl the Mesa Oversized it really scooped sounding.

I have mesa oversized.....and yes I have noticed that is full of mids, probably at this point is the guitar....Lasse can you give me two di tracks of your guitar? I'll try to reamp with this setting and I'm really courios about the result.....
If ther's a lot of mids going on, probably is the cab and some reflection of my room......

Man, i like clip 2 better! im glad that wasnt the Cobra! Cause I could prob afford a 5150 one day! I think im in love with the 5150....

Wow, I'm amazed at the results - I guess it's cuz I've only ever played through the Cobra's red channel (Ultra?), which I hated, I guess I should've messed with the crunch! Also, though, it was a 5150 II, so that would explain it as well; thanks for the test!
