5150III available

This will be the third time I've owned a 5150, but I really don't go through amps all that fast. I trade the 5150 for amps, and then come back to it fast. :lol:

Had an XXX for 1.5 years, then got the 5150. Had that for half a year, and then got a Recto. Had that for 3 months, and got another 5150. Had that one for a year, and then the JSX. I've had the JSX for just over a month now - this'll be the quickest time I've ever gone through an amp.
 
Might be a good idea to hang on to the 5150 when buying others from here on, haha.

Or... maybe we should just petition Peavey to create our ultimate JS50 amp... Wonder if they do custom orders, hmmm...
 
I've already asked them about a 5150 preamp.

I seriously think that I'm going to have Jerry Pinelli at FJA amps, or some other custom builder build me a 5150 preamp, and then get a Rectifier or MarkIV and run it through the poweramp.

No, I wanted to eat at the B-King (instead of cornflakes) I asked my GF to take some (of my) money with her so I can have a HUGE amount of whoppers....(was busy myself leashing my dog etc, so I asked her to do it..) when we arrived I asked her to give me like 20€ and she said "I have only 3€ with me....it's just breakfast..."
DAMN!
So I spent the rest of the day starving (empty fridge) and mixing THIS Band....
I wished someone would have just pissed in my cornflakes ;)

a dual is like 2600€ here..that's 3500$ !!!

yep, we gotta pay 3500$ !!!!! for a fucking dual, so don't complain...Id like to have one, but I'm not willing to shell out that much for it...I'd rather take a Diezel or Uber for pretty much the same amount.

Seriously, it pisses me of everytime I think about rectos....fucking fucktards!
a peavy costs the same all over the planet why do the fucksticks at mesa charge that much more just for shipping it to us?
Damn, I rather buy 2 6505 plus a 4x12 for that money.

Yeah, I can't afford a Mesa either right now... so don't feel bad. I can't even afford a used 5150.

You're right LSD!
A 6505 in the us costs something like 900 dollars which is like 668 euro.
I bought my 5150 for 939 euro brand new, 271 euro more than the american price.
271 is not few bucks for me, but is nothing compared to the difference in price of an us dual recto and an euro dual recto.

In Europe Engl is much cheaper and if you want a Dual - there are multitude of skilled techs that will make a 100% copy for you at a good price.

I think thats the best idea for any gigging musicians which solves what I think is the turning to mud "loudness problem" that 5150's are known for.
