I think a cut around 7KHz would do the trick to tame the fizz while still retaining the brightness of the tone.
It's fizzy, but nothing over the top that can't be tamed with a little post EQ

yeah, the krank is very twangy indeed....also VERY marshally (in the attack and feel).
definitely a must have amp, it's the amp that's the least similar to any of my other amps....
it's also a loe it or hate it thing...I'm not using it often and it definitely doesn't sound good with every player, but when it does it's awesome and very unique sounding
