Hi, so I made a few posts earlier of me complaining about my tone/amp/gear..
I went ahead and bought the real 6505+, and finally hooked it up yesterday, only to realize that the difference between my 6505+ 112 and 6505+ was very small, when dialed in 'right'..
Even worse.. I hooked it up to my loadbox (120watt) and after reading that the actual output of a 6505+ due to its cold bias, was no more than 75watt orso, I went ahead.. but suddenly the amp died on me. Checked the fuse.. and yes.. totally blown.. had no more than 4 hours of playtime on it.. I don't think I've done anything wrong in particular.. but I do feel pretty bad.
Either way, I dialed in my old 112, and tweaked the knobs from 12 o'clock
Settings (below is not o'clock, but actual numbers on the amp):
Presence: 10
Resonance: 6
Post: 6
High: 6.5
mid: 4.5
low: 7
Pre: 3
Reverb: 0
Boosted with a TS808
Volume: Max
Tone: 12 o'clock
Gain: Zero
I do find it a little blurry still, although that might just be my playing..
But the gain seem a little uneven, sort of like it's 'clipping' internally..
Kind regards
Christian
