Winter Rose = James LaBries first band before he joined Dream Theater.
I have the album playing now. It is pretty good. Not very progressive. Hard 80's rock, but shit James can sing.

He is totally awesome on this cd!!

Asylum City... it is the first song on the album, and James puts in an incredible performace!

Not exactly my cup of tea, but I agree. LaBrie's voice is awesome.

Winter Rose is AWESOME. I bought it back in 1997 during my one and only trip to Utopia (from memory, the other CDs I bought that day were... hmm, can't remember). Young Kev Labrie has never been better than he was on that album.
