8 string intro idea with Kemper

Picked up the new Kemper profile pack by SinMix and have to say that when I seen how tight some of them sounded I dug out the 8 string to see what she could do. I got some riffs right away and a couple days later came up with this neat (at least I think so) intro and song idea. Once I get some lyrics, I can space out the other parts to fit but for now I am sharing the intro with you for some feedback. It is just rough for now but wanted to share anyway just to fish for any feedback on ideas as many people on here know much more about recording than me.

The very intro (up until about 28 seconds in) is kind of dull sounding to me. I think that just changing it around would help, but overall I really like the sound of it. It's got a nice groove to it.

By the way, I like your username I used to own an Agile 9 string and I've played a few of their 7s. Great guitars.
