90's Metal

Dumbass...... You've nailed it there with Astro Creep 2000, what a fucking album. I've never heard of Ocean Machine what are they like?
Ocean Machine is Devin's first solo project after the Vai "Sex and Religion" album. It's really cool. More of a progressive metal/hard rock sound.

Never considered NIN or White Zombie to be metal.
I always did. I'm not really sure what disqualifies them. Even if you count out NIN because of all of the frequent melodic piano etc...... White Zombie was Surely Metal!?!?:erk: ..... but Tomato TomAto.

In my opinion every band worth of knowing made (one of) their best albums in the early 90's.

Use Your Illusion
For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
Sound of White Noise
Lights, Camera...Revolution
Rust in Peace
Countdown to Extinction
No More Tears
Vulgar Display of Power
Low
Youthanasia

Do I need to add more?

the 90's definately were pretty bad for metal, I can think of only a handful of albums that were actually any good.

Not at all.

So many great bands.

Summoning, Graveland, old school death metal, Black metal. The decade of extreme metal

Spacebeer's watch stopped in the 80's, he's not managed to replace the battery yet and get with the times  Go easy on him.

Good album, but in no way shape or form metal...

There was definatly some great albums released in the ninties - metal just wasnt as main stream as it had been in the past
