Oh man, don't get me started! If you were to get assaulted by Mexicans looking for work every time you pull into Home Depot in a truck, you would understand...At the one particular location I have to shop at, you can sit at the stop light, look to the left and see the Mexican illegals getting work, and then look to the right and see the American homeless. Can you tell me what is wrong with this picture?
Here is another interesting item: If any of you follow hockey, you know that the team here in Phoenix is called the "Coyotes". A Hispanic woman wrote a letter to a local newspaper complaining that the name was offensive to her, and wanted to start a petition to have it changed. Out here, a "coyote" is also a person or group of people that smuggles illegals into the country. These coyotes do not care if you live or die during transport, as you pay up front for their services. Often 50 men, women, and children will be packed into a vehicle for days on end without water or food, all believing that they will make it across. Some don't survive the trip. This woman was later interviewed, and as it turns out she herself is an illegal alien. She pays no taxes, has no job, and is fully supported, along with her children, by our tax dollars. The more children she has, the more $ she gets. There are houses around the valley here that at any one time you may walk in and see over 30 people residing there. All are illegals, very few if any speak english, and most at one time or another will draw all their money from our gov't. I have seen illegals, after being dropped back off at the Home Depot, walk over to a brand new truck, and drive off. Do you think they pay taxes? Do you think they contribute to society? While I am busting my ass to support my family, keep a roof over our heads, and keep my car going, they are living the American Dream. They have cars and houses. Their kids get free education and medical insurance. Who pays for all that? You and I. We pay for it every time we get a paycheck, everytime we buy a bottle of Pepsi or a pack of gum, or when we withdraw money that we have scraped together and invested for our own retirement or our childrens futures.
Who will wash our cars, clean our houses, save our lives or teach our children? It would be the ones who cannot work now because there is no room for them. Who would you hire to do manual labor? An American citizen who even if you had only to pay minimum wage, you still had to pay taxes and insurace for them, or an illegal for nothing more than 5 bucks a hour?
If you want to come into this country, learn to speak english, and pay your taxes like the rest of us, more power to ya. If you just want the free ride and handouts, keep your ass where you are, we don't need you.
